What is it?

The Club Championship is a selection of races over a range of distances (5k, 8k, 5m, 10k, 10m & half marathon) for members to enter.

The Club Championship will run from 1 June to 31 May the following year (this is to ensure there is sufficient time to finalise positions prior to the annual awards evening).

There will be a male and female competition, and each will have the following age categories based on a members age on 1 January in the year that each championship starts (ie. for the championship starting on 1 June 2023, the age category will be based on the members age on 1 January 2023):

  • 17-39 years of age
  • 40-50 years of age
  • 51+ years of age

All ages will be taken from the membership records, so please ensure that your profile on England Athletics is all correct!
