What is it?
The Club Championship is a selection of races for members to enter.
This year’s championship runs from 1 June 2026 – 30 April 2027.
We’ve made some changes to the Plodders Championship this year.
This year’s championship is another parkrun Grand Prix. To be in it please ensure you have ‘Prudhoe Plodders’ set as your club on your parkrun profile so we can filter results.
If the championship event is cancelled, for whatever reason, the championship automatically moves to the following Saturday
If you are injured and can’t run and volunteer at the championship event on the relevant Saturday, bonus points are available.
Championship Runs June-December:
- 6 June 2026 – Chopwell Woods parkrun
- 4 July 2026 – Herrington Country parkrun
- August 2026 – No championship parkrun – school hols so go touristing just for fun
- 5 September 2026 – Ashington Community Woodland parkrun
- 3 October 2026 – (Town) Moor parkrun
- 7 November 2026 – Prudhoe Riverside parkrun
- 5 December 2026 – Chopwell Woods parkrun
- 2 January 2027 – Herrington Country parkrun
- 6 February 2027 – Ashington Community Woodland parkrun
- 6 March 2027 – (Town) Moor
- 3 April 2027 – Prudhoe Riverside parkrun
Disputes and Adjudication
- In the event of any dispute, a request must be made in writing to the Club Committee to review the dispute.
- The Club Committee decision will be final.
